Avigail Gordon-Hecker

My PhD thesis focuses on the effects of maternal depression on empathy development in infants. Moreover, I'm examining mother's caregiving techniques, family interaction, and mother-child interactions in order to understand better what maternal states, traits, and behaviors influences empathy development in infants.

My research is conducted in collaboration with Dr. Noa Gueron-Sela.

I received support from the PhD scholarship of the Faculty of Humanities.
